Garry was born and raised in Guernsey, with professional careers in accounting, banking and treasury.
In 2012, Garry was elected into public office and was duly returned in 2016 and 2020.
Garry represented Guernsey internationally for over 17 years and won 11 international medals, including a silver and a bronze medal at the European Championships.
Garry has been a sports administrator since he was 18 years old, he has been involved with 14 different organisations, holding over 60 different roles with over 230 years of combined service.
